Judi LefebvrePractice Manager
Judi has been the Practice Manager at Ruckersville Animal Hospital since February 2016. She lives locally with her all-American dog, Snap and her newest addition, a Domestic SH cat named Pongo. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two grown daughters and their families. She also has three grandchildren which she adores.
April DarnellLicensed Veterinary Technician
April graduated from Blue Ridge Community College with Licensed Veterinary Technician degree in 2002. She has practiced as a Licensed Veterinary Technician since then and has a total of 20 years experience working in the veterinary field. April joined our team in early 2016. Her hobbies include puzzles, traveling and spending time with her husband and six cats.

Jessie LangoneLicensed Veterinary Technician
Originally from Alexandria, VA, Jessie graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and subsequently passed her boards to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2015. Jessie has worked in the veterinary field since 2001 at both primary care and emergency hospitals and is an active member of the Virginia Association of Licensed Veterinary Technicians and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America. She has a passion for rescuing senior beagles and holds an interest in pain management and senior pet care. In her free time, Jessie enjoys trying out new recipes, baking, spending time with family, and watching ice hockey (Go Caps!). Jessie currently lives in Madison with her husband, daughter, two dogs, Carlson and Dug, and two cats, Cheese and Itukala.
Ronnie SerrettLicensed Veterinary Technician
Ronnie graduated from Blue Ridge Community College with her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree in 1988. She is an active member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America as well as the Virginia Association of Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Ronnie joined our team in 2009. When not hard at work, she enjoys spending time with her two boys and pup, Bella, and attending local band shows and dancing.
Elle WhiteLVT Student
Elle joined our team in August 2018 and is originally from California. She earned an Associates of Arts and Sciences from Germanna Community College in May 2018 and will begin her studies toward an Associates in Veterinary Technology through Blue Ridge Community College in August 2019.
In her spare time, she enjoys painting, arts and crafts, and riding horses. Elle currently lives in Charlottesville with her husband, two Chihuahuas, Trooper and Mickey, and her Domestic Shorthair cat, Boo.
Darla CollierVeterinary Assistant
Darla worked for the previous owner of our hospital and we were very pleased that she has stayed on with us; as are many of our clients! When not at R.A.H., Darla enjoys riding in her boat, as well as fishing, attending antique car shows, usually showing her and her husband's own vehicles, and spending time with her two hounds, Drifter and Libby.
Danny FoySurgical/Veterinary Assistant
Danny started with Ruckersville Veterinary Clinic 17 years ago and has stayed on with Ruckersville Animal Hospital, giving us the full benefit of his years of experience as a veterinary assistant, specializing in surgical and lab areas.
Sam AtwellVeterinary Assistant
Originally from Madison, Sam joined the Ruckersville team in 2019 after she graduated from Radford University and has been a great addition to our team. Sam's favorite thing about working at RAH is all the cute animals she gets to meet every day. Sam is also a personal trainer with Anytime Fitness and enjoys working out at the gym in her spare time as well as snuggling her own pets. She currently lives in Orange with her significant other, two cats, Stormi and Peep and a guinea pig named Cookie.

Originally from Northern Virginia, Laura joined the Ruckersville team summer of 2019. She currently lives in Stanardsville with her husband, children and handsome kitty, Puzzle Dust.
Wanda HedgesClient Services Representative
Wanda joined our team in 2010 after retiring from UVA with 34 years of service as a Customer Services Manager. She attended Piedmont Community College and devoted 24 years to serving the citizens of Greene County as a volunteer rescue squad medic. Wanda and her husband, Kevin, adore their 2 little furry girls, Abby and Bella.
Wanda is the mother of 3 sons and one daughter. She also has 5 grandsons, 4 granddaughters and a great granddaughter. Wanda enjoys all types of music, singing, reading, guitar, cooking and baking.

Courtney joined Ruckersville Animal Hospital in 2019 and currently lives with her daughter.

Originally from Culpeper, Amanda has been with Ruckersville since 2018. She currently lives in Madison with her husband, daughter, a Yorkie named Chase and two cats, Meow Meow and Midgie.
Jennifer ThomasClient Services Representative
Jenny joined our team in 2015 after relocating to the Charlottesville area. She has over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field. She enjoys reading, gardening and hiking with her dog Charlee. She and her husband are looking forward to trail riding and camping with Charlee and their two horses, and exploring the trails around their property.
Deia ZukowskiClient Services Representative
Deia has been with R.A.H. since the beginning, working part-time at the front desk. She is proficient in Spanish and is an important member of our Saturday team. Deia currently lives in Stanardsville and enjoys photography and spending time with her pets. You may also find her working her 'other job' at Crutchfield.
